This morning Rooms 10 and 11 discussed how we can help ourselves and others to improve our work by giving and receiving constructive feedback. We watched this youtube clip about Austin's process and progress as he drew a butterfly. Room 10 and 11 were not only amazed at Austin's progress but we were able to identify that constructive feedback or 'critiquing' isn't meant to upset anyone, it is intended to help others do better. We were also noticed it took Austin 6 drafts before he had a butterfly he was happy with. Often we need to persevere, keep trying and accept critiquing in order to produce work to high standards.
