They are deep water sharks so you probably won't see them by the beach. There are lots of other kinds of shark though. None of them hunt people! You are more likely to be killed by a cow or a coconut than be bitten by a shark. So don't worry about it Nathan.
Hi Mr Brock, I searched up on the internet some facts about Hammerhead Sharks, and found that a Hammerhead Shark can grow up to 2 feet long and weigh up to 1,000 pounds and they are usually light gray and have a greenish tint to them. I really like the photo of the Hammerhead Shark. By Faith. :-)
Good searching Faith. Although I think you meant 20 ft long rather than 2 ft. That's about 5 metres long!! Around here they don't get much bigger than 4 m long. The shark in the picture was a little over 3m which is about 12 feet long. Big fish!
